Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Tests of Czech Republic

Cooperation Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Certificates and Product Test Results between PCBC and Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Tests of Czech Republic signed on 11 March 1996

This agreement shall apply to those products which are: Fuels, fuel products, iron metallurgic products, non-iron metallurgic products, metal industry products, machines and appliances, precision industry products, vehicles, electrotechnical and electronical industry products, chemical industry products, construction materials, glass and fine pottery products, wood and paper industry products, other clothing industry products and other industrial products.

Conformity assessment procedures

According to this Agreement, the recognition of certificates and test results included in product test reports concerns the products which: ;

-Are the object of the trade exchange between Polish and Czech economic entities; ;
-are subject to the obligation of conducting testing and certification at least in one of these countries; ;
-are manufactured in these countries. ;

The Parties shall mutually recognize testing laboratories and certification bodies accredited in the national accreditation systems entitled by them to conduct testing and certification. The testing laboratories should comply with the requirements included in the Standard EN 45001 and the ISO/IEC Guide 25. The certification bodies should comply with the requirements of the Standard EN 45011 and the ISO/IEC Guide 28. ;
