The standardization, metrology and certification. ;

The agreement provides development and expansion of cooperation in the following areas: ;
- Harmonization of national standards with international and European ones in order to promote scientific and technological cooperation and overcome technical barriers in trade; ;
- Promote and develop direct links between the research and development institutes on standardization and conformity assessment bodies of both Parties; ;
- Carrying out preparatory work for the mutual recognition of conformity assessment based on relevant international standards; ;
- Exchange of documents, information, periodicals issued by national standardization bodies (catalogs, texts of national standards, procedures and regulations, general information, materials for teaching and training of specialists in the area of standardization and conformity assessment); ;
- The exchange of specialists and experts to adopt the practices in standardization and conformity assessment; ;
- Co-operation and mutual support within the framework of participation in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO, IEC, CEN, CENELEC). ;
