This addendum is to inform that TIS 2425-2560(2017) proposed by Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI), notified under G/TBT/N/THA/498, was adopted as TIS 2425-2560(2017) Residual Current Operated Circuit-Breakers without Integral Overcurrrent Protection for Household and Similar Uses (RCCBS)- Part 1: General Rules (Amendment No.1).

L'objet du présent addendum est d'annoncer que la norme TIS 2425-2560(2017), proposée par l'Office thaïlandais de normalisation industrielle (TISI), notifiée au moyen du document G/TBT/N/THA/498, a été adoptée en tant que norme TIS 2425-2560(2017), intitulée "Interrupteurs à courant différentiel résiduel sans dispositif de protection contre les surintensités incorporé pour usages domestiques et analogues – Partie 1: Règles générales (Modification no 1).

6. Description of content

The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to amend the Thai Industrial Standard for residual current operated circuit-breakers without integral overcurrent protection for household and similar uses (RCCBS)- Part 1: General Rules.


This standard applies to residual current operated circuit-breakers functionally independent of, or functionally dependent on, line voltage, for household and similar uses, not incorporating overcurrent protection (hereafter referred to as RCCBs), for rated voltages not exceeding 440 V a.c. and rated currents not exceeding 125 A, intended principally for protection against shock-hazard.


The main amendment includes standard values of rated residual operating current, which modified to be 0.006 - 0.01 - 0.015 - 0.03 - 0.1 - 0.2 - 0.3 - 0.5 - 1 A as stated in 5.3.3.

L'Office thaïlandais de normalisation industrielle (TISI) propose de modifier la norme industrielle thaïlandaise "Interrupteurs automatiques à courant différentiel résiduel sans dispositif de protection contre les surintensités incorporé pour usages domestiques et analogues (ID) - Partie 1: Règles générales".
La norme notifiée s'applique aux interrupteurs automatiques à courant différentiel résiduel fonctionnellement indépendants ou fonctionnellement dépendants de la tension d'alimentation, pour usages domestiques et analogues sans dispositif de protection contre les surintensités incorporé, de tension assignée ne dépassant pas 440 V alternatifs et de courant assigné ne dépassant pas 125 A, principalement destinés à la protection contre les chocs électriques.
Les principales modifications concernent les valeurs normales du courant différentiel de fonctionnement assigné, qui sont remplacées par les valeurs suivantes: 0,006 - 0,01 - 0,015 - 0,03 - 0,1 - 0,2 - 0,3 - 0,5 - 1 A (cf. paragraphe 5.3.3).

Esta norma es aplicable a los interruptores de corriente residual, de funcionamiento dependiente de la tensión de red o no, para uso doméstico y otros usos análogos, que no incorporan una protección contra sobreintensidades (ID), previstos para funcionar con tensiones asignadas hasta 440 V ca y corriente asignada hasta 125 A, destinados principalmente a la protección contra descargas eléctricas.
La modificación consiste, principalmente, en el establecimiento de nuevos valores de corriente residual de funcionamiento: 0,006 – 0,01 – 0,015 – 0,03 – 0,1 – 0,2 – 0,3 – 0,5 - 1 A (párrafo 5.3.3).
