This addendum is to inform that TIS 528- 25XX(20XX) proposed by Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI), notified under G/TBT/N/THA/149/Rev.2, was adopted as TIS 528- 2560(2017) Hot-rolled Flat Steel of Commercial and Drawing Qualities.

L'objet du présent addendum est d'annoncer que la norme TIS 528-25XX(20XX), proposée par l'Office thaïlandais de normalisation industrielle (TISI), notifiée au moyen du document G/TBT/N/THA/149/Rev.2, a été adoptée en tant que norme TIS 528-2560(2017), intitulée "Acier plat laminé à chaud de qualité commerciale et pour emboutissage".

6. Description of content

The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to revise the draft Thai Industrial Standard for Hot-Rolled Flat Steel of Commercial and Drawing Qualities (TIS 528-25XX(20XX)). This revision replaces the draft standard previously notified to WTO/TBT under G/TBT/N/THA/149/Rev.1.


The major revisions include amending the definition and adding more grade for hot-rolled flat steel: HR5.

L'Office thaïlandais de normalisation industrielle (TISI) propose de réviser la Norme industrielle thaïlandaise pour l'acier plat laminé à chaud de qualité commerciale et pour emboutissage (TIS 528-25XX(20XX)). Cette révision remplace le projet de norme précédemment notifié à l'OMC/au Comité OTC au moyen du document G/TBT/N/THA/149/Rev.1.
Les principales révisions consistent en la modification de la définition de l'acier plat laminé à chaud de série HR5, et en l'ajout de nouvelles nuances d'acier.
El Instituto Tailandés de Normalización Industrial (TISI) propone revisar el Proyecto de Norma Industrial de Tailandia para productos planos de acero laminados en caliente, de calidad comercial o para embutido (Norma TIS 52825XX(20XX)). Mediante esta revisión se sustituye el proyecto de norma notificado anteriormente a la OMC con la signatura G/TBT/N/THA/149/Rev.1.
La revisión ha consistido fundamentalmente en modificar la definición de producto plano laminado en caliente y añadir una nueva categoría: HR5.

6. Description of content

The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to withdraw TIS 528-2548 (2005) Hot rolled flat carbon steel of commercial and drawing qualities, and replace it with TIS 528-25xx Hot-rolled flat steel of commercial and drawing qualities as a mandatory standard.  This draft standard applies to hot rolled flat carbon steel (unalloyed and alloy steels) of commercial and drawing qualities.  It specifies types and grades; chemical compositions; mechanical properties; basis mass, sizes and tolerances; general requirements; marking and labeling; sampling and criteria for conformity.

L''Office thaïlandais de normalisation industrielle (TISI) propose de supprimer la norme TIS 528-2548 (2005) (Acier plat au carbone laminé à chaud de qualité commerciale et pour emboutissage) et de la remplacer par la norme TIS 528-25xx (Acier plat laminé à chaud de qualité commerciale et pour emboutissage) qui sera mise en application en tant que norme obligatoire. Le projet de norme notifié s''applique à l''acier (allié ou non allié) plat au carbone laminé à chaud de qualité commerciale et pour emboutissage. Il couvre les points suivants: types et qualités; composition chimique; propriétés mécaniques; masse brute, dimensions et tolérances; prescriptions générales; marquage et étiquetage; échantillonnage et critères de conformité. ; ;
