6. Description of content

Statutory Instrument No 132 of 2015 stipulates that specified products imported into the country (Zimbabwe) should be accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity. Pre-export verification of conformity of a list of products is conducted in the country of export and a Certificate of Conformity is issued based on international standards. At each port of entry the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) will require production of the certificate of Conformity for the products to enter Zimbabwe.

The aim of the Consignment Based Conformity Assessment (CBCA) programme is to control the quality of imported goods in order to minimize the risk of unsafe and substandard goods entering the Zimbabwe market. Conformity Assessment programmes are put into action in accordance with the Article 5 of World Trade Organization's Technical Barriers to Trade agreement.
Le texte réglementaire n° 132 de 2015 dispose que certains produits désignés importés au Zimbabwe doivent être accompagnés d''un certificat de conformité. Une vérification avant exportation de la conformité d''une liste de produits est effectuée dans le pays d''exportation et un certificat de conformité est délivré sur la base de normes internationales. À chaque point d''entrée, l''Administration fiscale du Zimbabwe (ZIMRA) exigera la présentation du certificat de conformité aux fins de l''admission des produits en question au Zimbabwe. ; ;Le Programme d''évaluation de la conformité applicable aux expéditions (CBCA) vise à contrôler la qualité des marchandises importées dans le but de réduire à un niveau minimum le risque d''entrée de marchandises non sûres et non conformes aux normes sur le marché zimbabwéen. Des programmes d''évaluation de la conformité sont mis en place en application de l''article 5 de l''Accord sur les obstacles techniques au commerce de l''Organisation mondiale du commerce. ; ;
el instrumento reglamentario N° 132 de 2015 establece la obligación de presentar un certificado de conformidad para determinados productos importados en Zimbabwe. Se comprobará previamente la conformidad de una lista de productos en el país exportador y se expedirá un certificado de conformidad conforme a las normas internacionales. La Dirección de Hacienda de Zimbabwe (ZIMRA) exigirá este certificado para los productos que ingresen al país por cualquiera de sus puertos. ; ;La finalidad del programa de evaluación de la conformidad de los envíos (Consignment Based Conformity Assessment -CBCA-) es controlar la calidad de las importaciones para reducir en lo posible el riesgo de entrada de productos nocivos o no conformes en el mercado de Zimbabwe. Se establecen programas de evaluación de la conformidad que responden a las condiciones del artículo 5 del Acuerdo sobre Obstáculos Técnicos al Comercio de la OMC. ; ;
