The draft amendments № 2 to the Customs Union Technical Regulation "Technical regulation on fat and oil products" (CU TR 024/2011) provide for clarifications in part:
definitions of the concepts "spread", "ghee mixtures", "cocoa butter equivalents", "cocoa butter improvers" taking into account the previously introduced concept of "milk fat substitute";
requirements to the process of production of edible oil and fat products;
requirements to the process and conditions of transportation of edible fat and oil products, including the use of vehicles intended for transportation of oil and fat products in bulk;
requirements to permissible levels of safety indicators of certain types of edible oil and fat products.
The indicator of oxidative damage "peroxide number" in sauces based on vegetable oils, mayonnaise, mayonnaise sauces, creams based on vegetable oils was excluded.
