6. Description of content

Draft Regulations on the enforcement of minimum energy efficiency performance (MEPS) standards for household electrical appliances imported or manufactured in Zimbabwe; and measured in accordance with the standards for usage and standby power maximum limits.

Le projet de règlement notifié vise à faire respecter des normes d'efficacité énergétique minimale applicables aux appareils électrodomestiques importés ou fabriqués au Zimbabwe, selon des mesures conformes aux normes relatives aux limites maximales de consommation des appareils en utilisation et en mode veille.
proyecto de reglamento relativo a la aplicación de normas de eficiencia energética mínima (MEPS) a los aparatos electrodomésticos importados o fabricados en Zimbabwe, medida de conformidad con las normas sobre límites máximos de consumo de los aparatos en uso y en modo en espera.

7. Objective

To conserve energy through enforcement of MEPS for domestic electrical appliances.

Préservation énergétique par la mise en application de normes d'efficacité énergétique minimale applicables aux appareils électrodomestiques
