The notified draft Mexican Official Standard sets forth classification, trade name, commercial information and test method requirements, and specifications, for yogurt.
Le yogourt visé par le projet de norme officielle mexicaine notifié doit satisfaire aux exigences pertinentes en matière de classification, de dénomination et d'information commerciale, de spécifications et de méthodes d'essai.
El yogur objeto de este Proyecto de Norma Oficial Mexicana debe contar con la clasificación, denominación e información comercial, especificaciones y métodos de prueba.

Establece las especificaciones fisicoquímicas y la información comercial que deben cumplir los productos denominados yogur, yogurt, yoghurt, yoghurth o yogurth, así como los métodos de prueba que deben aplicarse para comprobar dichas especificaciones. ;
Esta norma es aplicable al yogur, yogurt, yoghurt, yoghurth o yogurth que se comercializa dentro del territorio de México. ;
Cuando en la presente Norma Oficial Mexicana se utilice la denominación yogurt, se entenderá como yogur, yogurt, yoghurt, yoghurth o yogurth. ;

El 14 de noviembre de 2012, la Secretaría de Economía publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación (http://www.dof.gob.mx), la resolución por la que se modifican los numerales 2, 3.1, 3.5, 3.6, tabla 1 del numeral 6.1 y 10 de la Norma Oficial Mexicana NOM-181-SCFI-2010, Yogurt-Denominación, especificaciones fisicoquímicas y microbiológicas, información comercial y métodos de prueba, publicada el 16 de noviembre de 2010. ;

La modificación de los numerales no afecta a la industria, y resulta comercialmente menos restrictiva para llevar a cabo la regulación del producto yogurt. ;

La modificación de la NOM-181-SCFI-2010 entrará en vigor a los sesenta días naturales posteriores al día de su publicación en el Diario Oficial de la Federación. ;

El 3 de noviembre de 2011, la Secretaría de Economía publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación (http://www.dof.gob.mx), el proyecto por el que se adiciona el numeral 9.1 de la NOM-181-SCFI-2010, Yogurt-Denominación, especificaciones fisicoquímicas y microbiológicas, información comercial y métodos de prueba. ;

La modificación de la NOM-181-SCFI-2010 entrará en vigor 60 días después de su publicación en el Diario Oficial de la Federación. ;

Esta norma es aplicable al yogur, yogurt, yoghurt, yoghurth o yogurth que se comercializa dentro del territorio de México. ;
